If you need cash while visiting the city take note before you arrive of your PIN code and its length. If it happens to be longer than 4 digits you may have trouble withdrawing money here as most banks only allow for 4 digits.
As with any foreign country you should carry an electrical adaptor to be sure your gear can be charged safely.
