Let there be no mistake about it! The airlines, hotels, restaurants, tour operators, national tourist boards, and other travel firms mentioned or featured in videos on InsiderPerks.com have not paid a single penny for such mention. All establishment listings and reviews on InsiderPerks.com are based on our filmmaker's individual experiences at the time of filming. Our videos are not advertisements. In this regard, we are totally different from other travel sites on the Internet, which do maintain commercial relationships with the entities or programs they recommend. Our only clients on InsiderPerks.com are you, the users of InsiderPerks.com.
Yes our videos are professional. Yes our videos are done with express permission from each establishment we visit. At no time does any such establishment "fake" or setup a shot that is included in our videos. In addition our scripts are not "pre-approved" by any establishment and are completely written based on the filmmaker's experiences alone.
It is important for our visitors to understand that there are certain occasions during which Insider Perks and its staff members will receive certain perks or benefits as a part of our coverage. These can (but do not always) include things such as free admission to places we are filming, reduced or complimentary hotel stays and reduced or complimentary meals.
At no time do these offerings affect our coverage of any tourism establishment. They are not a prerequisite to our visit and they are by no means required or expected. As a general rule these offerings are accepted on occasion in order to facilitate our coverage and not to influence it. For example, we may produce a video about a restaurant and wish to feature a variety of its cuisine in the video. We obviously cannot order everything off the menu during one sitting so the chef may select some of his favorites to present us with so that we can convey the variety of food available to you.
There has never been and there will never be a time where Insider Perks accepts any of these offers as part of an agreement to provide favorable coverage.
